Inspired by art nouveau, classic folktales, and my time spent in Newfoundland at the Pouch Cove Artist Residency, it's a self-portrait of Katie circa 2002. Before the world tells us what is to be good and bad, flower and weed, we might think a dandelion is absolutely the best kind.
